Contests are important because by winning you have the possibility of working with the organization of the contest, either in concerts, classes and talks. The work of a musician is difficult to do due to the scarce job offers, in order to have opportunities it is important to be insistent and persevering in personal work. In Chile, the music industry invests in musical products that do not include everyone, meaning that only one type of music can be profitable and another cannot.
